"Chaska" (means first born son in Lakota Sioux) was the first Slywynk foal, born at 6:00am on May 23, 2007 on the upper banks of the West Brandywine River in Chester County, PA.  He was so tiny that Wendy could hold him in her arms easily.

Chaska was 20" tall at birth and is currently measuring in at 31.00".   He is a very calm and affectionate colt, with plenty of his sire's charm and his dam's spunk.  After relocating to Virginia with his family when he was only 3 months old, Chaska continues to reside here at Slywynk Miniatures with his Sire, Jack, Dam, Moon Flower and his Grand Dam, Valentine.
