Junior is a rescued retired racehorse.  He is estimated at being around 26 years old or older.  He has had 2 foster homes before he came to live at Slywynk and into his Forever Home.  At his former home, he was being repeatedly harassed by 2 other horses and just couldn't seem to make friends.  

He was being adopted by Slywynk as a pasture pal for Ashkatah, their full size paint. Ashkatah and Junior hit it off almost immediately.  They are well matched in size and temperament.  Junior is completely calm and quiet but his spirit is alive and he still likes to go on trail rides.

Now they are practically inseparable!  They are the very best of friends.
